Youth ages 4 to 17 can join Camp Fire Clubs throughout the council. In club you will learn various skills through a progression that follow you as you grow. Whether you're just starting out and learning your phone number, or planning your own service project as a high school teen, clubs can be the perfect place for you! In clubs you will participate in age appropriate activities with an adult leader, earn emblems (honors) for your activities, while also raising money for our council and for your summer camp tuition! Join us in a Camp Fire Club today! Registration is never too late!
Youth 7th grade and up can apply to become Day Camp Aides at their favorite Day Camp. Aides are junior counselors who assist adult staff in preparation for activities, game set up, and group games as well as learn what it takes to be a summer camp counselor. Aides can be a part of Riverview Day Camp, Pioneer Columbus Day Camp, Discovery Day Camp, and Canwita Day Camp for a maximum of four weeks. As they are more helpers than campers, there is a reduced camp cost with most activity fees included. If you love camp and are an older youth, apply to be a Day Camp Aide. Have fun at camp, learn a lot, and be prepared to work with a smile!
With one of our organization motto's being "give service", many of our youth get the volunteer bug! Camp Fire Clubs can help youth to design several of their own service projects throughout the year. If you're in for a bigger challenge, youth 16 and older can apply to be a volunteer for Camp Fire programs. We accept youth volunteers for summer camp as well as school year round programs! If you have an interest in leading specific crafts or games, or just want to come help out for an afternoon during a program or for a service project, fill out a volunteer application detailing what programs you would like to be a part of!
Youth going into 1st through 12th grade can be a part of one of our many summer camps. Whether you're into Day Camps or staying a full week at Overnight Camp, we've got a camp to match your needs. While many of our camps are traditional summer camps, we offer many age specific programs for middle schoolers and also upper high school students.
