complete with a luau and limbo contest and other Hawaiian inspired activities that
you won't want to miss!

Zootopia: This week will be nothing like you've ever seen be-fur! Get wild and let out

your inner animal on our awesome field trip to the Blank Park Zoo!

Sports Extravaganza: It's raining sports! Get immersed in everything sports from

soccer and baseball to croquet and badminton. For the sports lover in all of us, a trip

to the Iowa Cubs will surely do the trick!

Splish Splash: Splashtastic! Get ready to be soaked during this week of water fun!

Splash around in the mud while doing a little creek stomping, or have a blast during

the water olympics!

Star Spangled Spectacular: Celebrate the home of the free and the land of the brave

as we discover what it means to be an American. We'll top the week off with a trip to

the roller rink!

Lab Rats: Calling all Mad Scientists! Prepare to be amazed by all the gizmos, gadgets,

and goo that we will be experimenting with, all leading up to a spectacular scientific

trip to the Science Center!

Medieval Madness: Kings and Queens unite! Let's travel back into the past, to a time

when Kings and Queens ruled the land, and jousting was the most popular sport! Our

trip to Living History Farms will let you experience history as you've never seen it

Jurassic Island: Join us for a trip to Jurassic Island, where the water is plentiful, and

Dinosaurs roam the earth! This week will be full of Jurassic surprises, and underwater

fun at Holiday Aquatic Center!

The Great Adventure: Get ready for the Adventure of a lifetime! This week will be full

of wild and wacky experiences that even the most daring among us won't want to

miss, especially when we head to Adventureland!

Off the Wall: It's the end of summer...let's get crazy! It's time to remember all the

great times we had this summer, and bring back some of our favorite moments, like

a trip to one of the best water parks around...Cascade Falls! Campers will pick the

activities this week, with the guidance of staff of course!

Riverview Community Day Camp is available to youth and families who live on the north and east side of Des Moines.  New in 2013, this day camp exploded in popularity providing youth with our popular field trips and activities as well as our proven literacy program.  These campers will experience a variety of activities and field trips throughout the summer including swimming throughout the week, fun field trips, and many active games and crafts.

Grades: 1-8

$45/week: ​Qualifying for Free Lunch status
$90/week: Qualifying for Reduced Lunch status

$180/week: Full price

Camp Fire He​art of Iowa

Special pricing is available based on your family's school lunch status. These fees provide campers with a healthy breakfast (not guaranteed at 4mile drop), lunch, morning and afternoon snack, and funds swim passes and most field trips. 
If your family qualifies for free or reduced lunch status, you must submit a verification letter from the school to the Camp Fire office for the discount to apply to your account.
You will not have a guaranteed spot until Camp Fire has this documentation.
