Where the Wild Things Are - “Let the wild rumpus start!” Let your wild side out this week as we play silly games, do arts and crafts, and take a trip to Blank Park Zoo to visit some real life “wild things”.

May the Best Team Win - This week is sure to include some friendly competition as you participate in crazy challenges to see which team comes out on top! We will take a trip to see an Iowa Cubs game and root for our favorite team to win.

ComiCamp - Grab your cape and get ready for a great time! This week will be all about superhero activities such as playing games that require you to be lightning fast, creating masks to hide your true identity, and finding your own super strength.

Party in the USA! -  Every day at camp is a party, but this week will be dedicated to celebrating America’s birthday!

MythBusters - This week we will be experimenting to figure out which common myths are true and which are busted. Join us for a trip to the Science Center of Iowa!

Rock the Clock - We will be taking trips through time this week!  Explore the past with a trip to Living History Farms and visit the future as we participate in space-age games and crafts.

Super Splash Brothers - We will splash into this week with a trip to Clive Aquatic Center, water balloon battles, a giant slip-and-slide, and water games that are sure to get you super soaked!

Raiders of the Last Week - It’s your last week, and we are going to celebrate the best way that we know how… by bringing back some of your favorite activities! We will revisit some of this summer’s best activities; including scavenger hunts, games, crafts, and a trip to Cascade Falls Aquatic Center.

Riverview Community Day Camp

Riverview Community Day Camp is available to youth and families who live on the north and east side of Des Moines.  New in 2013, this day camp exploded in popularity providing youth with our popular field trips and activities as well as our proven literacy program.  These campers will experience a variety of activities and field trips throughout the summer including swimming throughout the week, fun field trips, and many active games and crafts.

Grades: 1-8

$50/week: ​Qualifying for Free Lunch status
$90/week: Qualifying for Reduced Lunch status

$180/week: Full price

Special pricing is available based on your family's school lunch status. These fees provide campers with a healthy breakfast (not guaranteed at 4mile drop), lunch, morning and afternoon snack, and funds swim passes and most field trips. 
If your family qualifies for free or reduced lunch status, you must submit a verification letter from the school to the Camp Fire office for the discount to apply to your account.
You will not have a guaranteed spot until Camp Fire has this documentation.
