Liz Freeman

Liz Freeman joined Camp Fire in March 2024 as the Program Manager. Liz is originally from the Des Moines Metro area. She attended the University of Northern Iowa and earned her bachelor's degree in biology.

Prior to joining Camp Fire, Liz has held varies positions in several different summer camps and school year outdoor programs. During her free time, Liz enjoys being outdoors: hiking, camping, hammocking, etc. She could also be found curled up reading a book, enjoying game nights, painting, and hanging out with her foster animals.

As Assistant Camp Director, Liz assists with the oversight of Camps Hantesa and Canwita with a special emphasis on youth development and program implementation.
