Camp Fire Heart of Iowa is bringing all the fun of camp to the Prairie City Monroe Community School District with their Before & After-School Program (BASP) called Sparks! This program is action packed with a fun, safe, affordable, and engaging environment where kids can be kids! Along the BASP, Sparks will provide care for enrolled students for school day off days. Both Sparks Monroe and Sparks Prairie City are licensed by the Department of Human Services.

Holidays: The program will be CLOSED on the following dates:

Labor Day: Monday, September 4th, 2023

Thanksgiving: Wednesday, November 22nd – Friday, November 24th, 2023

Christmas: Monday, December 25th, 2023

New Years: Monday, January 1st, 2024

Memorial Day: Monday, May 27th, 2024

Winter Break: Tuesday, December 26th – Friday, December 29th*

Spring Break: Monday, March 11th – Friday, March 15th*

While there is not before- and after-school care provided these days, we have full School Day Off Camps running these days.

*No BASP tuition is charged for these weeks.

School Day Off camps bring all the fun of summer to one action-packed day! Enjoy a full day of counselor-led activities.
